My name is Andrea Sadgrove, thank you for visiting my online store. I am an avid collector of fabrics, and have been sewing for myself since I was about 10 years old; my first collection was for my Barbie dolls.
In the Spring of 2009 I started a line of simple peasant dresses and tops for girls from 2-8 years old, which I sold at local craft shows. At one of the first craft shows my most popular dresses were some made from thrifted vintage bedsheets, so from then on the hunt was on for more vintage bedsheets.
I love repurposing and giving new life to something that is no longer wanted, but is still in good condition. I find it exciting to transform one thing into another, and it helps me to teach my children a lesson in treading lightly on our planet.In the Spring of 2011 I introduced a new line of dresses, bloomers and capris made from organic cotton, printed with environmentally friendly dyes.
